In the third quarter, the installed capacity of wind power increased by 4.33 million KW, a year-on-year decrease of 38.1%; The installed capacity of PV increased by 11.44 million KW, a year-on-year increase of 58.9%. Provinces with large new installed capacity include 2.61 million kW in Shandong, 1.92 million kW in Hebei and 1.03 million kW in Henan. By the end of September, the installed capacity of photovoltaic grid connected in China was 278 million KW, a year-on-year increase of 24.6%.
 
In the third quarter, the installed capacity of grid connected distributed photovoltaic was 7.66 million KW, an increase of 81.1% year-on-year. The newly added distributed photovoltaic accounted for 67.0% of the total newly added photovoltaic installed capacity in China, an increase of 8.2 percentage points year-on-year. By the end of September, the installed capacity of distributed photovoltaic in China was 93.99 million KW, accounting for 33.8% of the total installed capacity of photovoltaic, an increase of 1.2 percentage points compared with the previous quarter and 1.8 percentage points year-on-year.
 
In terms of consumption, in the fourth quarter, the northern region generally entered the heating period and strong wind period, which is a period when wind and light abandonment are easy to occur. The maintenance of 750kV lines in Qinghai Province will continue until late October, which has a great impact on the consumption and utilization of new energy in the fourth quarter. It is necessary to further improve the power transmission capacity of Qinghai Henan UHV channel, accelerate the construction of supporting grid connection and transmission projects of new energy, and promote the cross provincial consumption of new energy power.
 
Affected by the annual energy consumption double control assessment in Inner Mongolia, Qinghai and other regions, the growth rate of power load is expected to decline, affecting the consumption space of new energy. In addition, due to the recent impact of coal supply and other factors, the system operation in Mengxi, Shanxi, Shandong, Henan, Gansu, northeast and other regions is difficult, the regulation capacity is reduced, and the consumption pressure of new energy is further increased.

In the third quarter, the growth rate of wind power installed capacity slowed down and the installed capacity of photovoltaic power generation increased rapidly. The cumulative grid connected installed capacity reached 300 million KW and 280 million KW respectively. In the third quarter, the installed capacity of wind power increased by 4.33 million KW, a year-on-year decrease of 38.1%; The installed capacity of PV increased by 11.44 million KW, a year-on-year increase of 58.9%.
 
In the first three quarters, wind power and photovoltaic power generation accounted for 11.8%, an increase of 1.8 percentage points year-on-year. The layout of wind power and photovoltaic development continued to be optimized, and the new installed capacity of offshore wind power and distributed photovoltaic increased significantly. Consumption utilization evaluation in this quarter
 
In the third quarter, the national wind power utilization rate was 98.3%, with a year-on-year increase of 0.5 percentage points; The utilization rate of photovoltaic power generation was 98.2%, a year-on-year decrease of 0.9 percentage points. In the third quarter, the national abandoned wind power was 2.13 billion kWh and the abandoned photovoltaic power was 1.71 billion kwh.
 
In the third quarter, the power consumption of the whole society increased by 8.4% year-on-year, creating favorable conditions for the consumption of new energy. In the third quarter, the electricity consumption of the whole society was 2231.2 billion kwh.
 
The utilization rate of new energy in some areas such as Qinghai has decreased. Affected by the maintenance of 750kV Transmission Line and other factors, the utilization rate of wind power and photovoltaic power generation in Qinghai decreased by 6.2 and 14.6 percentage points respectively year-on-year in the third quarter.
